Mass Hysteria from Innistrad Remastered (2024)
One red mana for global haste is ridiculous—especially when your deck wants to swing fast and hard. Mass Hysteria is underprinted (Mirrodin, The List, and a quiet Secret Lair) and underplayed. It fits perfectly into Commander shells like Winota, Purphoros, and Ilharg where you don’t care what your opponents are doing—you need to s m a s h!!
This is well and truly any aggro deck’s $1 super weapon. The symmetrical effect isn’t great for all metas but for a $1 buy-in, other than a dollar, what have you got to lose?
ESTIMATED PRICE INCREASE PERIOD: Mid-Long Term.
FORMATS PLAYABLE: Mostly EDH.. fringe Legacy play.
BDSM VERDICT: Tried-and-tested staple that was highly sought after prior to reprinting. Provided we aren’t drowned in reprints (which seems unlikely) this card should slowly but surely rise in value.
Perilous Snare from Aetherdrift (2025)
Perilous Snare is a three cost artifact that grants exile spot removal as long as it remains on the board. that’s huge in casual Commander pods rife with recursion and graveyard abuse. It also takes advantage of recent trends I’ve seen where players aren’t doing a good job of using enough spot removal. Plus, it’s Historic , making it perfect for Arbaz Miir decks. Let’s give a little shout out to Arbaz !
It also features Start Your Engines, a one-set mechanic unlikely to return. At Max Speed, it tacks on a sorcery-speed tap ability to put a +1/+1 counter on a creature or vehicle—small value, but value nonetheless.
This card has a low ceiling, but could easily see an increase in price if awareness increases or if Start Your Engines becomes more popular due to the small card pool that allow us to reach Max Speed. If you want to use this mechanic, you’re bottlenecked into this really.

FORMATS PLAYABLE: EDH, Brawl
